NRA Speaks Out on Recent Rash of Shootings

Within weeks there's been a rash of right-wing related shootings throughout the the U.S. of A. Surely the NRA has some strong opinions on these gun-related acts of domestic terrorism.

Freedom Haters spoke exclusively with NRA president Ron Schmeits to get  his reaction to these recent tragedies.

On the Kansas Abortion Clinic Shooting

"If everyone at that abortion clinic were armed with guns then they could have prevented the shooting!"

On the Arkansas Recruiting Center Shooting:

"If everyone at that military recruiting center were armed with guns then they could have prevented the shooting."

On the Washington Holocaust Museum Shooting:

"If everyone at that Holocaust museum were armed with guns then they could have prevented the shooting."

Thanks NRA!

We'll follow your astute advice for now on to keep America safe.

As NRA spokesman Ted Nugent would say, "Wang dang sweet poontang."

Rhetoric

Actually the post is not about a stance on guns, it's about the rhetoric the NRA uses every time there is a mass shooting, etc..For example, after the Virginia Tech massacre, whenever a politician or pundit would criticize the NRA, they, in turn (I'm taking to you Ted Nugent), would retort with something to the effect, "Well if everyone was armed at Virginia Tech, then they would have been able to take out the gunman."

Not a commentary on a stance, merely a commentary on NRA rhetoric.

Nugent Rhetoric

Actually here's what Ted Nugent said:

<<Gun rights activist and National Rifle Associationboard member Ted Nugent, commenting on CNN, called for an end to gun-free zones and contrasted the Virginia Tech massacre with other incidents in which mass shootings have been ended by law-abiding gun owners.[121]>>

Here's more Nugent:

Ted Nugent, who is known as a musician and a dedicated outdoorsman, expressed his frustration that there was no responsible gun owner around who would have had the opportunity to take out Seung-Hui Cho before he had the opportunity to kill and injure so many people. He sighted the gun-free zones that surrounded most of the worst mass shootings in US history. In his commentary, he specifically discussed Columbine, the mass shooting in a Lubby's Cafeteria in Texas, and others. In support of his theory that responsible gun owners would have been able to prevent the shooter from completing his mission, he discussed how mass shootings don't take place in police stations, military installations, and other locations in which people are normally armed.

Freedom Haters guesses the Arkansas recruitment center shooting proved Ted wrong. Wang dang sweet poontang!

People should have the right

People should have the right to bear arms. But this is getting so sad to see. There is to much violence

in this world and it needs to stop.

Could Be Wrong?

I could be wrong, but obviously we have a system that doesn't work. But guns don't kill, people kill---with guns.
