THIS WEEK: MAGICIAN AVAILABLE FLYER

Ok, was San Francisco magician Mystic Marlow being ironic or NOT ironic when he plastered the city of San Francisco with flyers trumpeting "Magician Available" for wedding receptions, private parties, corporate events, promotions, nightclubs, restaurants, and all occasions with a provided booking phone number. 

Was the intent of his flyers, which were posted on everything from light posts to laundromat bulletin boards, sincere or was there an incongruity between the intended meaning of his actions and the actual or perceived meaning?
